Age of Conan chat spam!

I don't know if I can take all the blame for this, but AoC's /ooc channel is absolutely flooded with guild advertisements. These adverts are all using the info panel scripting technique that I wrote about in an earlier 2 part series on macros, scripting and emotes. It seems that in my examples, I neglected to identify the #1 use for the scripts so far: guild advertisements. They are being used non stop for recruiting:

AoC's OOC channel appears to be guild recruitment spam territory now.

I linked those articles on the Funcom's UI forums for the community to share and create other cool things. I'm not going to take full credit (or responsibility, depending on how much these adverts annoy you) for this trend, but I probably played a major role in exposing the ability to do this in game. It appears to be the only semi-useful application of the scripting engine in AoC so far. To those that are turning off /ooc chat because of this, I offer my apologies. For those of you actually finding guild members with these, I hope I was able to help :)
