We've transferred the Destruction side of Casualties of War to the Thorgrim server, which is low population for both Order and Destruction as of the time of this writing.This was a tough decision that we debated pretty much all day. What if the server cap is increased? What if transfers become available? Will it always be like this? What if Thorgrim becomes a log jam too? We had many questions like these, but this pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Casualties of War: Destruction on Volkmar, which was posted on the official War Herald:
Hello everyone,
There are currently 4 servers on which players are experiencing high wait times. All other servers currently have no queue at this time. Players are strongly cautioned against starting their adventures here if they can play elsewhere. All four of these servers have had the number of concurrent users they support raised to the maximum possible.
The servers are:
Volkmar
Skull Throne
Badlands
Dark Crag
Thank you for your cooperation. Have fun!
If you are looking for us, we'll be there as we got the guild formed up and several players began leveling tonite. Better now than later when so much more progress has been made on those other characters on Volkmar.

You will i live in Japan but it should well was for me only a few hours after I got out of work. Actually worked out better TBH got out of work went to the gym went home and the servers were open.
We are strong CoWians (kind of like Roman cows). With the Queen music in the background, we will be champions in the end. I can't wait for server transfers to open so I can get my sexy Zealot back. You should love the new server, I got lots of tells asking if I knew Br3ntbr0. I would reply, " Why yes, we have tea every Sunday on Orders heads... Mmmmmm". (jk)

I feel your pain, my guild is on Volkmar also. And God forbid if you get a CTD or the game bugs out from alt-tabbing out to get in Vent (like it did for me last night) and then you are waiting yet another hour to get in.
Our leaders are waiting to see if the queue situation gets better as people move off or stay away from Volkmar. I wish we could just go ahead and move now. Best of luck on your new server and I hope it doesn't wind up overpopulated as well.
Ultimately, it'll be for the better. But here's hoping folks can transfer old characters soon as well.
I just hope the same doesn't happen on Order's server.
I know its not ideal, but to avoid CTD, you could play in windowed mode, if your comp can handle it. Sure you lose a little resolution. But its either that, or wait an hour to get back in.
Jobildo I saw that Averheim had a small queue for Order side during prime time yesterday, and the Destro side of Averheim's queue seemed 2-3 times more than that. I hope it doesn't happen to you guys too, but it doesn't look good if a bunch of people roll there Thursday :( Or worse, that happens and a bunch roll on our new server too and we have the queue times all over again.
Brent, you know this is all your fault. If you hadn't done such a great job on those videos nobody would have looked for you lol. I was going to go to Volkmar just to see if I could group up with you guys sometime too but didn't want the queue so said heck with that. I might try Thorgrim and see you there maybe. Good luck with the move though, your insight to the game has been really awesome. Oh, don't forget to give us your name on Thorgrim! lol

LOL, I can only wish I had that kind of influence in the mmo community. Truth is, for some weird reason several large guild chose to roll on Volkmar. If what you say was truly the case, we'd be getting slammed on Thorgrim too, and that's not the case. But thanks for the comment, even if it was a joke :)
