For a few months now I've been thinking about taking this blog site in a slightly different direction. I've been giving thought to making efforts to turn AWoT (A Wall of Text for the acronym challenged) into a "conglomoblog" of sorts. I feel that having multiple authors to this site would be beneficial in multiple ways; this site would get different perspectives, different writing styles, more diversity, etc. It also benefits you, the reader, in that you will potentially have more content coming from a source you already know. No longer will the site go stagnant if one of us has writer's block, or RL issues prevent us from posting, or whatever, since other authors could then pick up the slack. Since the same blog would now have multiple authors, all these different things start to cook together like a fine gumbo.

...mmm, gumbo...

Where was I? Oh yeah, AWoT is about to get Scary! Scary? Yes!...as in Scarybooster, previously of The Order of Destruction fame, and now Scary's box. I first came to read Scarybooster's blog when I was soaking up all things Warhammer Online a few months ago. I was really entertained with his comedic writing style, and often found myself laughing out loud at some of his posts. Recently, he decided to switch from Wordpress to Blogger (this site's platform) and to also widen the scope of his blog's content and not limit it to only Warhammer Online content. Taking note of this, I offered a partnership to Scary to be a part of A Wall of Text and he accepted. Scary will now bring his unique brand of humor and mmo insight to A Wall of Text, starting immediately. The timing was right and it should be a good partnership. My dry, no-frills, matter-of-fact writing style should be complimented by Scary's humor and insight.

This all came together really quick, as I had been doing alot of thinking and taking almost no action. Now that it has come together, I'd like to also announce that I'm looking for another author (or two?) if anyone out there is interested. There's some money in it for you (I promise, its not much...and not often) and if you just enjoy writing about mmo games A Wall of Text can provide you with a good base readership (around 400 regular readers plus thousands more visitors) that will see your articles.
