My last post about Star Wars: The Old Repbulic was to talk about the latest video update from BioWare. I made it a point to try and point out a few things about the game that might not be obvious when first watching the clip, and will quote myself as saying that I did so "With fanboy lust and nerd-like precision". Well, I'm not even in the same league as Darth Hater, who has this thing broken down six ways from Sunday in a way that fans truly deserve. Take the image below as an example:
Hats off to Syp who linked a post on the Darth Hater blog. After following that link to Darth Hater's very cool blog dedicated to SWTOR, I realized just how much I really missed when I broke things down. If you are following SWTOR like I am, this is a great read and likely a great resource going forward.

I don't really think it is worth breaking this stuff down like this this early in development because they could decided to change anything in there at anytime and switch stuff around. It's nice to see the screen shots of what it would look like, but it's pretty much the same as any other MMO.
I found it useful because in the video, they didn't talk about it. All that they seemed to discuss was how huge the voice project is. Well, we've heard that and got the point, people are interested in the real details so this kind of dissection happens.
Definitely a good post, looks like I need to start stocking my reader with more SWTOR sources. I had no idea that there were so many SWTOR focused blogs and forums up and running already. Guess I shouldn't be surprised though, its reminiscent of the run up to WAR's launch in ways. Massive hype abound (and me getting sucked in again lol) from fans, media and the developers.
I read somewhere else that this has been in development since 2005. The tone of the article was that they may be alot closer to a beta than any of us may think. Perhaps we'll get some info this Saturday when they release some info at San Diego Comic Con.

No prob -- pretty cool post, eh? Really shows how far they've gotten already.
